Qui est relatif, appartient à plusieurs communes. Centre, établissement intercommunal; hôpitaux intercommunaux; coopération, solidarité intercommunale. Les textes actuels permettent d'ériger en station un groupe de communes, la gestion de l'ensemble étant assurée par un syndicat de communes ou, à défaut, par des conférences intercommunales (JOCARD, Tour. et action État, 1966, p. 54).
